Cindy Montgomery Teachability Founder

Teachability

Teachability, LLC, is unique in its mission to connect young adults with disabilities, such as autism, to opportunities.

In June 2016, Cindy Montgomery founded Teachability, an organization dedicated to developing “Pre-Employment Programs” that bridge the gap between this population and small business, schools, and not-for-profits.

Montgomery grew up in Kenilworth, attended University of Michigan where she earned a B.A. in Sociology, and also holds an MBA in Finance from DePaul University.

She has worked as Assistant Director of Student Services in the Financial Markets and Trading Graduate program at Illinois Institute of Technology (IIT), and as Regional Sales Manager for the Institute of Financial Education. She also founded Age Right Training, LLC, which produced three Feldenkrais exercise DVD’s, while raising two sons, one of whom is autistic. Cindy also sits on the Woman’s Board of the Children’s Home & Aid Society.

Montgomery currently resides in Park Ridge, IL, with her husband and two sons.
